NSWCCC Netball Championships
In August, St Patrick’s sent three teams to contest the NSW Combined Catholic Colleges Netball Championships at Penrith. Due to COVID, this was the first NSWCCC Championships in two years and it was great to see the girls back out on the court playing high level netball.
While it was a mixed day for our Year 7/8 and Year 9/10 teams, our Year 11/12 team excelled and came within a single point of making the grand final play off game which would have given them the opportunity to be named the best senior netball team in NSW. Unfortunately, the ball didn’t roll our way and the girls finished in 3rd place overall. Still an amazing achievement and a great way to send off our long serving Year 12 netballers.
Congratulations and thank you to all the students and staff who were involved in the event and I look forward to our teams being back bigger, better and stronger next year.
