Word Mania is back!
This year's Word Mania competition has taken off for our Middle School students, who have eagerly embraced the opportunity to build their digital literacy skills with some interactive word building.
In each three-minute round, students are challenged to create as many words as possible from a bank of available letters. Each correct word earns a point, with increasing speed and complexity generating even more points.
At the end of Round 1, the College was positioned on the leaderboard as follows:
Year 7: Ranked 2nd in our region, 17th across Aus/NZ
Year 8: Ranked 1st in our region, 3rd across Aus/NZ
Year 9: Ranked 1st in our region, 5th across Aus/NZ
If we continue these wonderful efforts, we will be well on track to make the finals. Keep up the great work!
