Gifted and Talented Student Conference

Four of our Year 10 students recently attended the Gifted and Talented Student Conference at Ascham School in Edgecliff.

Here are our students thoughts about the day:

"I really enjoyed the presentation on 'Life and death', as it put into perspective what a 'good' life consisted of and made us reflect on our purpose in life."

"I enjoyed how they put our Science knowledge into perspective in the bigger picture of our world"

"I enjoyed seeing how the different issues we talked about have changed over time. I especially liked the session that went through the development of a person's values, needs and beliefs throughout their life."

"Overall the day was extremely interesting and insightful. The discussions challenged my opinions and ideas of society and it broadened my knowledge in a different and creative way. Learning and discussing theories of the contentment of life and the theory of time was very enjoyable."
