Puzzle Corner

Puzzle 1: A and B are two objects. A is five times as heavy as B. The difference in weights of the objects is 6kg.
Find the weight of A.

Puzzle 2: Find a multiple of 3, greater than 100, that is also a multiple of 4

Answer 1: A is 7.5 kg.
One possible way of solving this was to use algebra:
Let B weigh "B" kg, A then weighs five times this or "5B" kg.
The difference in weights is 5B - B = 4B = 6 kg.
Thus, 6kg is 4B, B is then 1.5kg and A is 5B which is 5 x 1.5 kg).

Answer 2108
Multiples of 3 greater than 100 are 102, 105, 108, ...
Multiples of 4 greater than 100 are 104, 108, ...
